JA Zimbabwe and Project Management Institute Zimbabwe officially signed a memorandum of understanding to help students participating in the project Elevating Project Management in Youth Ecosystem. The memorandum seeks to deliver project management skills and knowledge whilst integrating it into our JA programs.
The partnership will ensure that young people achieve their goals, making their dreams a reality. The collaboration will establish a project management award for students to compete for during the JA Zimbabwe National Company of the year Competition and provide an opportunity for PMI volunteers to serve as judges and assess students based on the defined award criteria.
With the help of the Institute students will receive project management mentorship sessions in the various schools we operate.
Through this collaboration PMI Zimbabwe will offer comprehensive services to JA Zimbabwe to maximize their ability to transfer project management knowledge, skills and competencies to the staff and youth they serve. Building the project management capacity of the staff involved in the coordination and management of JA Zimbabwe programs.

PMI Zimbabwe Chapter was founded as a not-for-profit membership association chartered by the Project Management Institute, USA. The Chapter received its charter in August 2017. Its vision is to be the prominent influence in the promotion of project management in Zimbabwe.
